The biopic focuses on the last two years of her life after she divorced from Prince Charles. Her relationships with heart surgeon Hasnat Khan and Dodi Fayed are also narrated. It also provides the details about how the Princess and Khan met.
During the last two years of her life, Princess Diana embarks on a final rite of passage: a secret love affair with Pakistani heart surgeon Hasnat Khan. The relationship between Diana and Mr Khan is said to have broken down shortly before her death in Paris alongside Dodi Fayed in 1997.
"It is not a documentary, but a dramatic interpretation. In a love story you have to create four or five dramatic scenes that make it work," said director Oliver Hirschbiegel.

Based on the untold true story of the Walt Disney adaptation of the book Mary Poppins by P. L. Travers. Saving Mr. Banks is a 2013 American-British-Australian biographical drama film directed by John Lee Hancock from a screenplay written by Kelly Marcel. Centered on the production of the 1964 Walt Disney Studios film, Mary Poppins, the film stars Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks with supporting roles from Paul Giamatti, Jason Schwartzman, Bradley Whitford, and Colin Farrell.
The film centers on the life of Travers, shifting between 1907 with her childhood in Queensland, Australia, the negotiations with Walt Disney and the making of Mary Poppins in 1961. While in California for filming, Travers thinks back to her difficult childhood in Australia, most especially to her father, the inspiration for the role of the story’s patriarch, Mr. Banks.
When Walt Disney’s daughters were young, they loved a little book about a magical (and slightly sadistic) nanny named Mary Poppins. He promised them that he would someday make a movie out of the series, and 20 years later, he delivered. But it was no easy task, which is what the upcoming film Saving Mr. Banks is about.
The true story of Mary Poppins' journey to the big screen is imaginatively brought to life, with terrific performances from an all-star cast.

A British film based on on Mandela's 1994 autobiography Long Walk to Freedom. A chronicle of Nelson Mandela's life journey from his childhood in a rural village through to his inauguration as the first democratically elected president of South Africa.
Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom is the long awaited motion picture adaptation of the personal story of one of the world’s most revered leaders, an esteemed statesman in modern history and an international icon, Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela. Based on his autobiography, the motion picture rights to which were entrusted exclusively to producer Anant Singh, this is the first film to tell Mandela’s whole story. The epic film spans Mandela’s exceptional life journey from his early years as a herd boy in rural Transkei to his inauguration as the first democratically elected President of South Africa.
The latest trailer for Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom has been released and it features a new U2 song titled "Ordinary Love" (no, not a remake of Sade's classic track), which seems almost too on-the-nose, but then again, if you're playing the Oscar game, on-the-nose is exactly what the Academy is looking for.
